For years I have been active in promoting computer science among Italian school students, through the Informatics Olympiads at various levels.
- Since 2020, Chair of the Committee of the Italian Informatics Olympiads (OII) — previously, from 2011 to 2020, scientific coordinator. The winners of the OII form the pool from which the Italian team for the IOI is selected. olimpiadi-informatica.it

- Since 2022, creator and organiser of the Giochi di Fibonacci, a block-based programming contest for primary and lower-secondary school students, together with Giorgio Audrito and Madalina Ciobanu. fibonacci.olinfo.it
